Prevention, identification and action on disordered eating: Extracts from current working policies and research

Prevention, identification and action on disordered eating: Extracts from current working policies and research

This document offers information and recommendations for the creation of policies to promote healthy eating and to help prevent and manage disordered eating and eating disorders in dance training and professional environments. This document is not exhaustive nor is it meant to replace the advice of a qualified health professional. Dance schools and companies must aim to promote health and not merely to avoid eating disorders. You may also find our 2012 resource on Disordered Eating useful.
