Our Performance Optimisation Package (POP) has been designed to complement the existing specialist healthcare available at National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS) NHS clinics, and is invaluable for dance artists working independently or without comprehensive in-house health provision.
Any individual dancer, teacher or choreographer can take out the package; companies and schools may also wish to add it to their existing offering for dancers.
One Dance UK offers several affordable memberships, each providing different levels of support, advice, advocacy and resources. Please read through the description of each of our schemes to help decide what suits you best.
Our single-person memberships are for individuals only, but our organisational memberships can be for Dance Companies, Dance Organisations, Theatres, Dance Studios, Festival Organisations, Educational Establishments or Production Companies.
At the end of your membership year, you are certainly welcome to change to a new scheme if you wish, however, it will not be possible to change during a current membership period.
As soon as payment is received the membership will be confirmed and will last one a year from that day.
We offer payment by credit or debit card, on a monthly or yearly rolling basis or with a one-off payment via our payment partner GoCardless.
You can request to pay your membership by invoice, though please be aware this is not an immediate process as we must raise the invoice and send it on to you and then await payment and during this period the membership will not be live until payment of the invoice is received.
Alternatively, you can call our Membership line on 0203 8701953 to make a phone payment and we can process the membership and payment for you there and then over the phone.
Yes, of course. We have members based all over the world. However, please be aware that our membership offering is very much focused on supporting and promoting the UK dance sector.
Once your membership is paid and live you will not be able to cancel, however If you do not wish to renew your membership at the end of period, the membership will automatically lapse and then become inactive.
You will be able to renew again in the future using the same account if you so wish.
