We are launching an extensive search across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to find new exciting choreographers of the future.
One Dance UK has officially opened applications for its Young Creatives 2025 programme, a prestigious, fully-funded national initiative designed to discover and nurture the UK’s next wave of choreographic talent.
Aimed at aspiring dance-makers aged 16 to 20, the programme offers young people from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales the unique opportunity to develop their skills and showcase their work on a professional stage.
Now in partnership once again with Sadler’s Wells’ Making Moves, following a highly successful collaboration last year, the Young Creatives programme promises an enriching experience through choreographic workshops, creative mentorship, and a live performance opportunity.
Participants will take part in:
-
A two-day residential launch in London, featuring workshops with leading industry professionals.
-
A series of in-person creative development days, offering space to experiment, collaborate, and grow in any chosen dance style.
-
Ongoing guidance and feedback from a Programme Lead, providing personalised support throughout the process.
-
A chance to premiere original choreography in front of a live audience on a professional stage.
"This is an incredible opportunity for young artists to gain professional insight, express their creative voice, and connect with peers from across the UK," said a spokesperson from One Dance UK.
Applications are open now and will close on Thursday, 31 July at 9pm. Interested applicants are encouraged to read the Application Guidance and submit their forms as soon as possible.
