Dance Medicine and Science Symposium 2026 official schedule released

The Department of Sport at the University of Wolverhampton is hosting its annual 2-day Dance Medicine and Science research symposium focused on current research themes and future collaborations on 9-10 May 2026. It will give attendees an opportunity to hear about contemporary practice and projects with opportunities to network and develop future partnerships.

There will also be an exciting CPD day led by Prof Jennifer Cummings - 'How to effectively plan, deliver, and evaluate mental skills training for and with dancers' on 8 May 2026. The session will look at how psychological skills can be successfully implemented into dance to improve dancers’ mental health and performance.
