Bird College is a leading conservatoire delivering professional vocational training in Dance, Music, and Musical Theatre. We are seeking passionate and experienced Practice-Based Tutors and Academic Tutors to join our teaching faculty on both sessional and salaried contracts.

You will be part of a dynamic, inclusive institution shaping the next generation of performers and creatives. These roles demand high-level industry insight and a strong commitment to nurturing student potential through excellent technique, inclusive pedagogy, and a deep understanding of current professional practices.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Dance: Commercial Jazz, Technical Jazz, Contemporary, Tap.
  • Acting: Acting Technique, Acting-Through-Song.
  • Singing: Singing Tutors,
  • Voice: Spoken Voice and Accents.
  • Academic Studies: Histories and Cultures of Performing Arts, Performance Science, Reflective practice.
