A sharing of ideas, knowledge and practical approaches about Sustainable and Green Carnival Arts through conversations, guest speakers and short films, bringing together designers, organisations, change makers and specialists from the UK, the Caribbean, Africa and Latin America.
The event explores how we can promote and support a more environmentally conscious approach to Carnival Arts and masquerade — sharing innovative ideas, celebrating existing initiatives and exploring new ways to make our costumes, materials, production and events more sustainable and greener. Together, we will consider how creativity, culture and collaboration can help shape a more sustainable and greener future for Carnival and masquerade.
