Building a dance community that celebrates everyone

One Dance UK Webinar with David Allwood from HOMOPARODY

This webinar will explore the importance of community, inclusion and diversity within dance. It will share David's experience of building a self-funded company from scratch and discuss gender stereotypes, sexuality and the beauty of using dance to bring people together.  

David said about the session:

'I have danced all of my life and my traditional training prepared me for a successful career as a dancer and choreographer. I was taught to "dance like a man" however, it was only when I was able to express myself freely and celebrate my sexuality that I rediscovered the joy and power of dance. I set up HOMOPARODY Queer Collective over 5 years ago and our dance community celebrates individuality and encourages freedom of expression.'
