Safeguarding and Abuse Prevention: Research findings 2022

This is a summary of the results of the 2022 safeguarding in dance research carried out in partnership One Dance UK, the University of Birmingham, the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS), and the international safeguarding group Personal Safety in Dance. The 2022 research extends the research from 2021 to develop a deeper understanding of what safeguarding and abuse prevention looks like from different the perspectives of both dancers and leaders.
