On 6 February 2015 the updated Children (Performance and Activities)(England) Regulations 2014, known as Child Performance Licence Regulations came into force. Youth Dance England (now One Dance UK) was involved in a Best Practice Working Group, to produce a sector led publication called ‘Examples of Best Practice – Child Performance & Activities Licensing by Local Authorities in England.’ This is essential reading for anyone organising performances for children and young people and all Local Authority.
