One Dance UK aims to be a “one-stop-shop” for dance, providing specialist services, networks, advice and professional development in the fields of advocacy, teaching and education, youth dance, performance, choreography, dancers’ health and well-being, management and leadership.

As a unified “go-to” industry organisation, we aim to exceed our members expectations and provide them with an improved membership that brings together the benefits of the four sister organisations, ADAD, Dance UK, NDTA and Youth Dance England.

For dancers, choreographers, teachers, lecturers, producers, managers, dance marketing and publicity specialists and other individuals working in, or interested in, dance.

For teachers, schools and educational establishments. One Dance UK represents dance teaching in schools and is the Subject Association for Dance and provides opportunities for children and young people both inside and outside of school.

We do this by: developing projects, events and networks for and with schools and their teachers; offering CPD programmes for teaching; providing advice and guidance about delivering dance in schools and being an advocate for dance education.

For students (part-time & full-time) in pre-vocational and vocational training and studying dance at university, and those who have graduated in last 12 months (minimum age 11 years)

For dance companies, industry suppliers, festival organisations, charities, production companies and others. Because One Dance UK understands the for small dance companies, the Organisation Membership fee is based on the organisation’s annual turnover, making it affordable.

I am a member of Dance UK or NDTA. Do I need to sign up for One Dance UK membership in April 2016?

All individuals and organisations with a Dance UK or NDTA membership that expires after 1 April 2016 will automatically become members of One Dance UK.
