Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to take a leading role on our dynamic Children and Youth Dance Programme within our fantastic Classes & Courses team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This key role is responsible for the organisation and delivery of The Place’s busy Children and Youth Programme, working closely with, and deputising for, the Classes & Courses Programme Manager.
Principal responsibilities include planning and delivery of the programme, acting as Safeguarding Lead, deputising for the Classes & Courses Programme Manager in their absence as required, and overseeing the Front of House and casual staff as appropriate.
The Classes & Courses Assistant Manager (Children & Youth Programme) leads the youth programme and is line managed by the Classes & Courses Programme Manager. The Classes & Courses team also comprises of an Adult Programme Officer and a Trainee. The department operates under the direction of the Public Programmes Executive Producer.
