U.Dance Regional Events
Each year, the U.Dance regional events showcase a selection of the best youth dance groups from all over the country. But it’s not just about performance: the dancers take part in workshops and masterclasses with industry professionals, inspire each other with their love of dance and develop their understanding of the dance sector.
Typically applications for U.Dance regional platforms open in the Autumn, with platforms taking place the following Spring. Regional platforms are hosted by partner organisations across the country. Application route for Welsh groups
We are delighted to be working in partnership with National Youth Arts Wales to invite Welsh youth dance groups to apply to be part of the U.Dance National Festival!

Application route for Scottish groups
Our friends at YDance deliver ‘Destinations’ – an annual youth dance platform for Scottish youth dance groups. Groups who perform at ‘Destinations’ will be considered for selection for the U.Dance National Festival.

Application route for Irish groups
Our friends at DU Dance deliver ‘Unanimous’ – an annual youth dance platform for youth dance groups from across the island of Ireland. Groups who perform at ‘Unanimous’ will be considered for selection for the U.Dance National Festival.
