The Tap Pack
Inspired by the kings of swing: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr, The Tap
Pack brings a new, exhilarating energy to a timeless style at Sadler’s Wells’ West End venue The Peacock, from 1 – 19 May 2018.
With slick suits, sharp wit and songs from Sinatra to Ed Sheeran, The Tap Pack presents a cocktail of pure entertainment, serving up classics with a twist, with a live four-piece band.
Created by Jesse Rasmussen, Jordan Pollard and Thomas J. Egan and co-created and directed by Nigel Turner-Carroll, the high energy tap comedy show has previously been seen in London at the Underbelly on the South Bank, and has toured to Beijing and Berlin. The show won The Spirit of the Fringe award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016.
The Tap Pack performers are Jesse Rasmussen, Thomas J. Egan, Sean Mulligan, Max Patterson and Ben Brown.
Jesse Rasmussen’s credits include the films Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2 alongside Savion Glover, with whom Rasmussen has also worked with his hip hop companies, J-TOWN and FlowCity. His musical theatre credits include Oh What a Night and Grease, and he toured as a support act with Beyoncé’s I Am world tour.
Thomas J. Egan has worked as a commercial dancer in Sydney with artists including Kylie Minogue, and appeared in the film The Great Gatsby. His musical theatre credits include Singin’ in the Rain and Fame. He created The Forge Tap Project and Street Feet.

The Tap Pack is produced by Kym Halpin and has musical direction by Stefan Nowak.
Show creator Thomas J. Egan said “We really are just five mates from Australia doing what we love and sharing it with our audience.” Jordan Pollard, creator, said “The Rat Pack were genuine pals on and off stage. So too are The Tap Pack and I think audiences may be able to feel the friendships on stage and know that they are seeing great mates who love what they do! You can definitely feel the mischief on stage – every night is a little bit different and we encourage everyone to keep it spontaneous. This has got to be the best show I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on!”
