Doodle Dance Training

The Point, Eastleigh – a regional powerhouse for contemporary performance – is delighted to offer artists and teachers the opportunity to attend the Doodle Dance Training Programme, a new scheme that explores how children can develop through engaging with dance and writing.

The training scheme, which takes place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 10th June, will be delivered by professional dance artist Jo Cone. During the two-day course participants will train to become official Doodle Dance Member Practitioners, equipping them to deliver the On Your Marks programme in primary and community settings.

The course is perfect for dance artists and teachers, providing artists with a 10 week plan to take home and use in their practice, a resource pack and schools information pack, sample props and a 12 month Doodle Dance Membership, qualifying participants to deliver the bespoke training.

Places for this course are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and costs £100. To find out more, and to download the application form, please visit or contact Dance Education Officer Alana Jones on 023 8062 7825 or
