HOTFOOT Online | Summer 2018
HOTFOOT is One Dance UK’s bi-annual publication focusing on Dance of the African Diaspora (DAD) and provides a platform for critical debate around the dance practices of the African Diaspora in the UK. We are excited to share the Summer 2018 edition with you.
The theme of this edition is Leading the Way with a focus on Leadership and Infrastructure from the perspective of our Trailblazers Fellowship Alumni. We interview several of the artists and practitioners about their work in the dance sector, creating new pathways of artistic expression and leadership and their impact on education, culture and lifestyle in the UK and beyond. Additionally we highlight the research conducted by the One Dance UK DAD team – a mapping of the sector: where the dance happens, who is working in DAD and the current needs.
