On 6 February 2015 the updated Children (Performance and Activities)(England) Regulations 2014, known as Child Performance Licence Regulations came into force. They can be found here. The Department for Education also produced guidance for these updated regulations and these can be found here.

Youth Dance England (now One Dance UK) was involved in a Best Practice Working Group, to produce a sector led publication called Examples of Best Practice – Child Performance & Activities Licensing by Local Authorities in England.’ This is essential reading for anyone organising performances for children and young people and all Local Authority.
