Swindon Dance is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their dedicated team. This is a senior, strategic role heading up our successful Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) – one of only nine national coaching programme in the country. We are looking for a top creative problem solver and motivational leader.
The position is for maternity cover, full-time (37 hours per week) starting w/c 9th September 2019 with a salary of between £25,000 – £27,500 pro rata, per annum dependent on experience. Working hours may include some weekends, school holidays and occasional evenings.
The Swindon Dance CAT is one of nine across the country and offers specialist pre-vocational training for exceptionally talented young dancers aged 11-18. The Swindon Dance CAT consists of three training programmes, two contemporary dance programmes based in Swindon and Exeter and an urban training programme based in Swindon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and financial management of the three training programmes. a programme of talent spotting across the south west, liaising with national government and CATs and manage a core team of eight and a freelance team of guest artists, tutors and choreographers.
This position is funded through the Department for Education (Dfe) Music and Dance Scheme and is dependent on continued funding from the DfE.
