South East Dance plays a national leadership role in the development of dance. We deliver an ambitious programme that encourages curiosity, discovery and risk-taking, supporting artists to create inspirational new work and empowering people in Brighton and across the South East region to engage with dance. We are a registered charity with an office base in Brighton, although we work across South East England and beyond to get more people involved in and excited about dance. As we celebrate our 21st birthday, we are currently embarking on our most ambitious project to date – the creation of The Dance Space, a new building comprising three state-of-the-art studios one of which will be a fully equipped 130-seat studio theatre, creative industries work space and artists’ accommodation. Construction is underway and we are looking forward to opening the doors of The Dance Space in 2020.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join us at this exciting time. We are looking for someone with meticulous attention to detail and high capability in day-to-day financial administration as well as financial management and planning skills. The successful candidate will also be a good team player with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach. The position is based at our office in Brighton.
This is a part-time, four day per week post. The salary is £27,000 p.a. (pro rata)
