Job Description	Founded in 2002, the MusicalFactory in Lucerne (Switzerland) is the only musical and dancing school in Switzerland with a program to become a professional stage dancer in musical/show that is recognized and funded by the Swiss Government. In addition to this program, we offer a wide range of dancing courses as well as singing and acting lessons for children, teens and adults of all levels. The MusicalFactory is unique in its form in Switzerland and only comparable to theatre schools in London and New York. All our teachers have professional artistic backgrounds to ensure that our students receive high-quality trainings. Currently, we are looking for a new dance teacher to teach mainly jazz classes (60-100%) from August 2021 on. Your tasks: Dance training of the students accepted to the state-recognized educational programme Dance courses for children, teenagers and adults of different levels Choreographies for competitions and performances Support of the school’s management concerning projects and performances Your profile: Bachelor diploma in dance/musical or equivalent diploma, possibly Master diploma in dance pedagogy Several years of professional stage experience, ideally in musical productions Experience as a dance teacher Focus on jazz dance (at least 2 styles like Fosse, Mattox, Luigi, Giordano or Horton) Experience in ballet and/or contemporary Team-player and reliable; a motivated and positive person We offer: A long-term permanent position in a creative, artistic and dedicated team in a picturesque city in Switzerland.
