We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced, creative andinspirational leader for our Children and Young Peoples dance programmes inthe learning and participation team at Trinity Laban, with excellent strategic andartistic understanding and organisational skills.

A new post, the Head of Childrens and Young Peoplesprogrammes will leadthe dance related strategy, programming, management, delivery and artisticdevelopment of Trinity Labans widening participation and access programmes forchildren and young people, contributing to the wider Trinity Laban mission,vision, strategic aims and policies.

In a senior role, you will be committed to the value ofdance in education and community contexts for children and young people and indeveloping aninclusive, innovative and outward facing programme of artistic excellence,embedding access and progression for all.

You will havesubstantial experience and a proven track record in a management and leadershiprole in the dance learning and/or broader participation sector, and in buildingrelationships with a range of organisations and stakeholders, taking an imaginative and collaborative approachto developing participatory projects and programmes with partners.

Crucially, you willhave considerable understanding of high quality teaching and learning andcurriculum development within a dance context, have excellent communicationskills and be able to motivate and manage the experienced programme staff team,which includes administrators, managers and hourly paid dance artists andteachers.

The post will be partof the wider learning and participation team, working closely cross facultywith music colleagues to facilitate and support strong and effective teamworking with and deliver a joint and coherent programme.
