Level 3 Award in Supporting the Delivery of Dance in Physical Education and School Sport
Following on from a successful launch in 2019, One Dance UK is proud to once again be offering the Level 3 Award in Supporting the Delivery of Dance in Physical Education and School Sport – a 1st4Sport and afPe qualification.
Why is this qualification useful?
The qualification is a response to the ongoing and increasing demand for primary dance CPD. Completion of the course will allow dance practitioners to facilitate high-quality dance lessons with confidence and develop creative thought in children and young people. The qualification is designed for individuals actively working or seeking to work with children and young adults in the delivery of Physical Education and School Sport provision.
Many schools now require outside facilitators to have a level 3 delivery qualification. The course involves two days of face-to-face training and follow-up assignments involving the planning and delivery of primary dance lessons. The training will develop, renew and enhance subject knowledge, whilst providing ideas to ensure lessons are fresh, innovative and engaging.
Successful completion of the award will support practitioners to deliver quality dance sessions in school settings. By studying with One Dance UK, you will be working with the only subject association for dance and taught by outstanding dance practitioners with extensive dance education knowledge.
