What time should I arrive?
Sign-in for the optional morning warm up session (8.30-9.30am) will open at 8.15am on Friday and Saturday.
Registration for all conference delegates will then be open 9-10am on Friday and Saturday.
Where do I need to sign in/ Register?
Friday: The registration desk will be located on the third floor at Leeds College of Music. Please enter the building via the main reception and follow signs for the conference.
For those taking part in the morning warm up sessions (8.30-9.30am) please sign in at Yorkshire Dance Reception with a member of the One Dance UK Team.
Saturday: The registration desk will be set up in the Student Hub (Building 2: Campus Central) School of Film, Music & Performing Arts, Leeds Beckett University – Headingley Campus.
What do I need to wear?
There is no dress code for the conference. There are a variety of sessions available including a mixture of practical workshops as well as panel discussions and lectures. We advise that you wear whatever you are comfortable in and something that does not restrict your movement.
What do I need to bring?
Your confirmation email, containing your tickets. You may also like to bring a notepad and pen, to write down some key thoughts and ideas from the day.
Will food be provided?
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
How do I sign up for my sessions?
Following your ticket purchase, an email will then be sent out to you explaining how to register for the various sessions you wish to attend. This email will arrive closer to the date of the event.
Why can I not register for the Keynotes?
It is assumed that all delegates will attend the Keynotes.
What if I have access needs?
Please email us at email@example.com to inform us of your needs/requirements and we will ensure measurement are put in place in advance.
Do I need dance experience to attend the conference?
No, The One Dance UK Conference offers a vibrant platform for personal and professional development for any and everyone who interacts with the dance sector.
Do I need to be a member?
No, you do not need to be a member to attend and purchase tickets. However, you can receive a 40% discount if you are a member. If you wish to become a member then please visit our membership page here, for more information.
Where can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite, please click on the link below to purchase tickets.
When do I get my ticket?
Your tickets are located in the confirmation email, as a PDF file. This will be sent to you automatically once you have completed your transaction.
I haven’t received a confirmation email, what should I do?
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help locate your ticket.
I can no longer attend; can I get a refund?
Yes, although please not that refunds are only offered up to 30 days before event.
Once I’ve purchased my ticket, can I change the day I wish to attend?
Yes, but you will have to inform us of this change by emailing us at email@example.com. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your date depending on ticket availability.
Once I’ve registered for the sessions I wish to attend, can I change onto a different session at a later date?
All sessions are subject to availability however, we will do our best to accommodate any session swaps. If you would like to swap your chosen sessions please inform us of this by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
