Circomedia presents ‘Cut The Mustard’ at The Point

19 Jan 2018

On Friday 2nd February Circomedia, the country’s leading provider of circus-based training, presents Cut the Mustard at The Point, Eastleigh.

A raucous evening of contemporary circus, physical innovation and boundless creativity, the 2018 graduating class of Circomedia use acrobatics, aerial tricks and manipulation to create an evening to remember. With witty adult humour and awe-inspiring skills on display, the performance is perfect fun for all aged 16 and up.

Circomedia is the UK’s centre for research and production of transformational experiences arising from circus, teaching and training the next generation of talented circus performers while touring new and exciting works across the country every year.

The Point, Eastleigh is dedicated to supporting the next generation of talent and presents new opportunities each season for artists, graduates and teachers to continue their professional development. Alongside the venue’s programme of performance, it also presents a Sunday Circus School for young people interested in learning more about the aerial arts.

In addition, the venue will present the 9th annual European Aerial Dance Festival in August in association with Gravity & Levity, welcoming aerialists from all over the world to The Point for unique and engaging workshops based around aerial and acrobatic skills. This follows the recent success of its aerial arts symposium, Dissecting Aerial, hosted in partnership with Gravity & Levity and One Dance UK.
