British Dance Edition, the biennial showcase for British Dance, is being hosted in Wales for the first time since being established by National Dance Network in 1998.

Recognised as the leading platform for British dance, 36 established and emerging companies can be seen during a four-day period.  Companies presenting their work range from those with an existing track record such as Akram Khan Company, Phoenix Dance Company, Wendy Houston and Motionhouse, to artists who are already having an impact – Project O, Igor and Moreno, Lost Dog and Robbie Synge.

BDE is a unique opportunity to see dance works that are ready for touring both in the UK and internationally.  It’s also a great chance to network with dance promoters from around the world – we’re expecting over 370 delegates.

In addition to the performance programme taking place in 4 venues, 11 companies will be pitching ideas and a further 20 plus will be taking part in the large-scale trade show on 17 March. We are also offering a limited number of one-day passes to coincide with the trade show.

Delegate registration is open.  Visit www.britishdanceedition.com to find out more and apply.
