bbodance launches Jazz Days
Following last year’s successful summer school pilot, bbodance is delighted to announce the launch of Jazz Days, an intensive performance summer school focusing on Acro, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, on 25-27 July. Registration is now open.
bbodance supports the journey of dance lovers from their first steps in a class to performing professionally, teaching, and opening their own schools. By popular demand, in 2018 we’re introducing Jazz Days, an intensive performance summer school focusing on our students’ favourite genres, Acro Dance, Jazz Dance, and Musical Theatre.
Jazz Days consists of intensive masterclasses in Technique, Choreography, and Performance taught at Birmingham Royal Ballet by West End dancers. The event uses ballet warm-ups and body conditioning and focuses on creating a show for parents, teachers, and special guests that is performed on the last day.
At the moment, Jazz Days is designed specifically for Midlands students aged 6-10 and 11-14. Jazz Days is open to any young dancer; students do not have to be bbodance members or take classes with bbodance teachers in order to register.
